GCO is not a long course, but what it lacks in that category, it makes up for in complexity and enjoyment! A family favorite here in Albany, it is our go-to course.

Perfectly situated in Albany, staff are always helpful and pleasant, and the rates are great. This year we'll be bringing our grandchildren into GCO so they too can learn the joy of golf! Thank you GCO!

Just took over the Operations of this Course. We will have a website up and running soon. Please continue to leave reviews. Going to put a lot of effort into getting the greens in the shape that they need be. Layout is a challenge. Trees and doglegs make it a Course that you have to think about your next shot.

I moved to independence from Cali this summer so I’ve been trying out all the different courses within my area so I golfed here solo on my bday and had a great time, staff was friendly and even gave me a Rain Check for the back 9 when it started pouring. Very nice course and it was beautiful outside, no complaints at all. One of the better courses in the area.

An enjoyable course with enough challenges to make it interesting for all levels. We've played on several different occasions, encountered different staff people, all of whom have been very pleasant, gracious, engaging and helpful. The course gets a little dry in the summer, but we will continue to frequent the course. Thanks for enjoyable summer afternoons.

Use to play this course a lot in the past. Course was in Ok shape...greens were just punched. Owner is still to unfriendly. Needs new blood in the clubhouse!! Don was a good guy when he was there. My partners had the same cart issue...they were not allowed to use it for the 2nd nine...and when we came in after 18, there were others still using carts....total bs. Old man makes judgements on people...he doesn't trust anyone....again...time for him to go!!!!

Enjoyed the heck out of this course. Not too long, cleverly designed approaches, well kept greens. You need to hit it fairly straight or you're in the trees. I plan to play it often.

Customer service was poor and was arguementtive and did not let us take cart for nine holes at 430. But he let a four some make the turn and let them to continue to use cart. It don't get dark until later so I believe the carts should be able to use after 430 and don't single people out they May have medical issues

We have played this course for over a decade now and it never gets old. The layout (trees/traps/landscape) make it a fun family course. Don is a great pro; knows his stuff and treats customers very well. For the price and size, you can't go wrong here.

Tried to walk 9 holes with my 10 y,o daughter on a quiet Sunday afternoon and they required me to pay for her to walk with me. I haven't played the course before, and will never play it now. Good job guy's way to loose a new golfing family.Went over to Springhill and they gladly accepted my currency and fit me in on a busy Sunday afternoon.

Just played 18 here Sunday. Have played front 9 and back 9 a couple times before. The guys that work there are great. The course is a good course. When I played 18 Sunday it was well maintained. I highly recommend this course. They also have a small range to get your swing down before you hit the course.

I have played this course in the past and always enjoyed it, but we got the chance to play it again and I was very disappointed. The course is in the worst shape I have ever seen, the greens are very inconsistent, the green on hole seven is tore up,the fairways are brown, and for 18 dollars for nine holes plus a dollar to use your debit card is outrageous. Much rather would have played springhill a mile down the road.

I've played this course for years, and I always enjoy it. It is a "sneaky" course - you can get in trouble if you don't choose the right club and don't stay in the middle. A few holes have been changed over the past few years, and this has been a good improvement. Take your low handicap golfing buddies here and watch them cringe!

It's a mature course with character and variety.

The course is always fun to play. This time of year always has spots that are tough to play because of the amount of rain we have in the area. It is always a challenge to play because of the layout, it makes it a challenge for the better players and fun for the beginners also.
