Goofy golf and dog park. Fun. But don’t take your round too seriously.

My boyfriend and I grew up in South Eugene and have been coming here since we were kids. Unfortunately within the past year the service at the pro shop has declined tremendously. The guys at the shop the last 3 times we have been here either unprofessionally do not tell paying customers that they are plugging greens or let a group of 7 people w/ teens in front of a group of 3 adults. This is still a golf course folks, even if it is a municipal. Probably won't be coming back and that's a shame because we have been loyal to laurelwood for a pretty long time. I recommend going to EMERALD VALLEY in Creswell. Much better course and service.

This is a great little golf course. Holes are challenging and interesting. The layout is fantastic. I love playing here and the staff is very friendly. Greens are in good shape, will hold a good shot, sometimes tough to read given that the grain direction can be tough to discern. Fairways are stellar. Nice variety of tees can easily push a good to above average golfer. Challenging but, fair. A great value for the price.

They had worked to make it great, but now have let it deteriorate. Sad.

A tough little course. You have to think on almost every hole.

Its a 9 hole course Billy. Get over it! Golf was meant to be played as a foursome. Why should those who play it twice get preference? Their 2nd round is cheaper than the person who just plays 9. I think the person who is paying more should get the preference. They're just trying to make a living like everyone else. They are doing an excellent job. I suggest everyone give it a try.

I have played this wonderful course for 30 years. It is a great test of your golfing skills and is in better shape that it ever has been. They are striving to make it the best 9 hole course in the state and I think they are getting close. I have played 130 different golf courses and this remains one of my favorites. Summertime greens are some of the best in the area.

There are just as cheap of golf courses in eugene that beat laurelwood hands down. We scheduled a tee time for 18 holes for a twosome. They didn't allow us to play alone saying that they were too busy and we had to partner up but the worst part was they gave us a scheduled time for the back 9 and told us that if we didn't make it back by that time they would "do their best" to get us out. Huh? I have NEVER heard this one before, EVER! 18 hole players should always be accomadated for when making the turn...simple golf etiquete! My recommendation is to play somewhere else and have a chance at a relaxing day of golf.
