Right near the top in Southern Oregon for 9 hole courses behind Quail Point in Medford and love going there even though it is 80 miles round trip!!

No sand/bunkers, but plenty of water to challenge your game. Bring extra balls... or buy a round for the group behind you for the fishing license. The water is a ball-sucker if you test it.

I'm a 60 y/o Bogey golfer on this course and I love it.
I've only played for 5 years on a regular basis, and of all the courses in the Grants Pass, OR area, this is the best for me.

What a pleasant surprise! We added golf to our Grants Pass getaway with our friends. We weren't sure where we wanted to play. We decided on Applegate River GC.
What an enjoyable experience. Friendly staff and a well maintained course for a very reasonable price. If we lived closer, we'd sure play there more often. If the rating allowed for 6 stars, I'd give it a 6...

Applegate River Golf Club is one of the very best 9 hole courses in the area. It is a course you can bring beginners out to yet challenging enough that you want to come out over and over again. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The price to play is very reasonable. Nothing beats the membership though because what I was roughly paying to play about 4x a month around the area now provides with unlimited play to come out whenever I can squeeze a round in.

There are no sand bunkers but a substantial amount of water that comes into play. The fairways are top notch with no roots, rocks nor large weeds and are always well manicured. The greens are also well maintained with an unending rotation of the pin for new looks.

Applegate River Golf has also added to the overall experience by recently adding a kitchen for lunches and serving of spirits to enjoy while taking in the view after a round.

Beautiful 9-hole layout with scenic mountain and water views from every tee box. The course is well kept and staff continues with improvements each year. The pro shop staff are extremely professional, knowledgeable, and very courteous. Daniel, the golf pro is well liked and provides great instruction for every level. This is a family run golf course and it definitely shows in how much pride is displayed from all employees who work there.

I have been playing this coarse since it opened. What a well kept coarse. Fairways are green. The putting greens are firm.Lots of water but if you we it straight no problem. Easy to walk.Did I mention I holed #2 in 08 . If youre visiting the Rouge valley I would recommend playing this one.

Between all the courses in Grants Pass, Applegate River is by far the most entertaining to play on. The fairways, including the rough, are kept in amzing condition, beautiful green grass everywhere. Job well done within the last month to the grounds keepers, and the clubhouse Pro is an outstanding instructor. Well done Applegate River, well done!

    What a treat.

Nice, relaxing round of nine with my Dad. Friendly, courteous staff and fellow golfers.

Beautiful setting among the verdant hills of Southern Oregon.

Course was in great shape with some of the best greens I have ever played on.

A little tight, and you need to follow the score card map, but fun course to play on.

The drive in from Grants Pass or Medford/Jacksonville is part of the treat, especially in a sporty convertible.
