- Between all the courses in Grants Pass, Applegate River is by far the most entertaining to play on. The fairways, including the rough, are kept in amzing condition, beautiful green grass everywhere. Job well done within the last month to the grounds keepers, and the clubhouse Pro is an outstanding instructor. Well done Applegate River, well done!There is a pro in the club house and he is awesome along with the other staff. The new owners are doing a great job!!! Surroundings are beautiful.My rating, should be a five(5) star.... for course and greens, Staff, Price($12.00 for Nine holes), and Setting.

Beautiful setting among the verdant hills of Southern Oregon.
Course was in great shape with some of the best greens I have ever played on.
A little tight, and you need to follow the score card map, but fun course to play on.
The drive in from Grants Pass or Medford/Jacksonville is part of the treat, especially in a sporty convertible.
