This is ab BEAUTIFUL golf course that is exquisitly maintained. The views and peaceful country setting are unparraled. The front nine is perfect fore beginners with relatively open fairways but with challenging greens. The back nine is a beautiful forest golf experience that will challenge even the most skilled yet very playable by all. I truly enjoy golfing here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great golf game on one of the first courses built in Oregon(1923).

Beautiful course and well maintained but the customer service was the worst I"ve experienced in 40+ years of golfing. 2 separate experiences with two different employees. Rude employees. It's almost like they dont want customers or care about their experience. For that reason alone, I would not recommend this course. Get some better employees or train the ones there and this would be a great place to play.

The funnest course in the area, without a doubt. The slope and changes in elevations, fantastic. In great shape for a mountain course. And the crew and Bar tender are great as well. I play it every time I do my Guys weekend golf trip. very fun!

This is one of my favorite courses to play. Challenging and fun and best of all, under new management, it is vastly improved over the past few years. The lady checking us in said she knew nothing about golf, but she certainly made us feel welcome, as did the young man at the counter when we finished. Both seem to take real pride in the work that is being done here and rightly so. If you haven't golfed at Hood River recently because you've not been happy with it in the past...please give it another try. You will not be disappointed.

Played this course 5 years ago and it needed some love. Well it is getting that love, looks great, greens are shaping up, you can see a lot of work has gone into this course in the last few years. The owners have worked hard and I appreciate that, having worked at golf courses the last 15 years. One of my most enjoyable courses to play. See you this fall! Would be nice to hook up my RV.

It is what it is. And I like that about this course. I would say it has the potential to be a great course. It has its challenging holes and the scenery is beautiful. If they would maintain the course better and put a little money into it, the course would be spectacular. I like playing HR better than IC. There is not much of a pro-shop, the usual NIKE gear. The bar and restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. But if you want to play a round of golf on a beautiful wooded course with views of Mt Hood for around 30 bucks, it is perfect!
