The golfer who likes to play different kinds of courses will enjoy the uniqueness of Manzanita Links, located off HWY 101. The 2,192-yard, par-32, 9-hole layout is constructed on a beautiful hillside that faces the pounding surf.

The course has many majestic fir trees, lush fairways, and well-cared-for greens. Hole #5 is a particularly interesting hole. The tee area is 80' above the fairway and provides a wonderful view of the hole. Only 280 yard from the back tees will provide the golfer with a great opportunity for an eagle.

The pro shop has the latest in golf equipment and apparel and the snack bar can provide you with your favorite foods and beverages.

A view from Manzanita LinksHole #5: Hitting the green in one is a good possibility with an 80' drop and only 280 yards from the back tees. The fairway opens up to the right and trees line the left. Fun place to play. Beautiful setting. Fairly easy but interesting holes. Great to play if you're not a long hitter. Fairways and greens well-kept.

Such a shame you've closed the driving range on Sept 2. September is often the most beautiful month of the year on the coast, and I know there are still plenty of retired locals and tourists who'd like to hit a bucket of balls. What kind of business model is this???

The Manzanita Golf Course is managed by very nice folks and the course, while not difficult, is fun to play and certainly worth the money. I'd give it a better score, but I believe they are affiliated with the Manzanita Driving Range. One of the grumpiest men I have ever met runs the show there...I watched and listened to how he treated others and it was mostly the same. My friend and I came to the obvious conclusion that he was not happy with anyone that came to hit balls after 4pm. They close at 5, and I have no doubt he did not want to be there and just wanted to move on to his next destination... Home, bar, who knows....a real disappointment. It made for a lousy and uncomfortable time.

This is a beautiful course, with deer and elk frequenting regularly. The greens year round beat most in the Portland Area. This is a short course so big hitters don't even need driver, although driveable par 4's is fun. Men's Club has M-F morning games, inexpensive. You'll want to come back.

This course is a gem...new greenskeeper has really improved the greens and fairways. Play it each time we come to the beach; more challenging than its length would indicate. The air is so dense at the beach that the ball just doesn't fly like it does any where else. Plus, tight fairways demand an accurate tee shot. FUN!

Steve and his crew keep the course well groomed. The fairways drain well, even in rainy weather. The greens give a good bounce. While being a short course, it does give a challege with strategically placed trees and bunkers. An excellent family course and reasonably priced.
