If you plan on playing tee times are not honored if they have a large tournament that wants your time and they do not let you know before you show up that you are not playing that day. I do not plan on going back. Play else where if you want less stress.

This course is just down the road from my house but I rarely play it. It's a challenging course, but not in a fun way, and is kind of expensive for what it is. Water down the right side on 1st hole is slicer's nightmare. 2nd hole is over 550 yards and plays more like 600 as you tee off uphill, then dogleg, then a tree on the right side of fairway about 100 yards from green that makes sure you can't get a direct shot. Oh, and there are houses all along the right side (My apologies to all of those I have hit over the years). After that it gets a little more straightforward, but by then I've also been 10 shots over already. I'd rather drive a little further and not be playing in a subdivision.

Would maybe be a more enjoyable course to play if there were any discernible difference between the tees. Usually the red/white/blue tees are roughly 5 yards apart (2nd hole is exception with reds up quite a bit further).

This is a great 9-hole course. They keep it in great shape year round. There is some backup on the first par 3, but other than that it is fantastic.

Played for the first time - Golfnow registration didn't get through but they called in and made it happen.
Course was in good shape - greens were especially nice. Would play again.

This is a fun, moderate course that's close to downtown. It makes for a great, lazy golf day. There's enough here to keep you on your toes (water, sand, trees, houses), but it's not going to pound you down if you make a mistake or two.

On full days it may take 2.5-3 hours to get through. On empty days, 1:15 or less.

I can't comment on the last person who wrote a review for this course, but I can say that they have it all wrong. This is one of the best nine hole golf courses here in the Portland area. It's not a long course, only 3077 from the Blue Tees, but it is a challenge for all levels of golfers. The golf course meanders through the Claremont neighborhood, which highlights the beautiful landscaping found all around the course. Every hole has out-of-bounds both right and left, and there are many water holes all the way around that makes it a challenge for even for the lowers handicaps. But don’t forget the most important thing, is that is just plan fun to play.

The customer service in the pro shop has always been polite, professional, and courteous. It’s one of the few golf clubs that take single tee times in the area. In this golfers opinion, Claremont Golf Course is one of the best courses in the Portland area.

This course is not worth the 17 dollars they are charging for nine! And the customer service in the pro shop was ridiculous! I was yelled at and put down in front of other people. I will make sure people know about the way this shop in run! Portland Oregon Claremont golf
