Great course for the price. conditions between a heroin lakes and Stone Creek quality. Greens team takes very good care of the course and it shows. By far the best deal on a 9 hole course in the area. Highly recommend trying it out at least once. The only negative is that if you hook or slice badly you will end up in someone's yard. Besides that you cant beat it!

My wife and I played today. First day of Spring. Beautiful weather and the course was in great condition. Play was extremely slow. Members were hitting into us and yelling from the last green we played to hurry up? There was no where to go. The three ladies in front of us were in their 80’s and they were waiting on the group in front of them. I told the player assistment about the rude actions from group behind us, and he, rudely, stated we ‘were’ playing slow? I guess hitting into the group in front of you is one of their local rules. We will never return. Had to laugh though. The three men members behind us could barely get their drive 180 yards. My 3 wood goes 230 yards. No wonder they yelled at us to tee off. They don’t know what a decent drive looks like,

Best kept secret in the Portland area! Always well maintained, with tree lined fairways and some the best and challenging greens you will find on the best courses around Portland.

Guaranteed to make you want to play again.

They hosted a wedding on-site and were the most inhospitable venue I have ever encountered. They did not, even for 5 minutes, let us shoot on any of the property - even the outer skirts of the golf course. There were plenty of times there was a break in golfing, or they could have even halted golfing for 5 minutes, but they felt they needed to assert their power and YELL at the photographers, attendees, and even the bride and groom as they were walking over for a quick photo of themselves dressed up.This was a very disappointing venue, as I am a photographer that has shot PLENTY of weddings at or near golf courses and people are gracious enough to let us get the shot we need and get on our way. Instead, we had to take pictures in their parking lot, and use peoples front yards, sidewalks, and the STREET to try to get some photos. It was such a rude group of people that I will now go out of my way to tell people about the experience at Summerfield Golf Course and Club - and the entire photo/wedding community. Thankfully, the wedding party was understanding of the struggle to find a place for any good photos, and they had positive attitudes. I know this may have been explained vaguely about the photos on the property, but it was definitely not clear enough and to be honest - they should never be hosting weddings at a place you CAN'T take a single photo on the property other than the parking lot. Come on. What a joke. If they had been KIND and understanding, even caring for a second about someone's special day - and said "Hey, let's find a solution here - let's maybe let you take a few photos in a break and then resume" we would have NOT pestered them further, had such a terrible experience, and everything would have been fine. Let this be a learning experience for these people in how to be considerate hosts - especially when someone pays to have their wedding on your facility. 0 stars.

What a hidden gem! A perfect, well-groomed course! Just challenging enough to please everyone. The pro shop staff (Jim) was an outstanding host in reviewing the course and the community. It was a very enjoyable visit and great game of golf. We will certainly come back.

I have had the pleasure to play many courses across the USA,and Summerfield is the nicest 9 hole course I have played. Great condition, great service, just a top notch operation for a 9 hole public facility.

This is a fine course with kind staff members but is tight. A great chance to work on accuracy is provided even though not a lot of distance is needed on some holes. A lot of touch is required, like at the ninth, with its pond in front and trees and sand in back of the green.

Top golfers might not have quite the challenge as at most courses but will find the reasonable price more productive than simply hitting a couple of buckets of range balls.

At last check, one could play nine for about $15 or less.
