Opened in 1924, Alderbrook Golf Course is one of the oldest courses along the Oregon Coast. 95 acres of dairy farmland were transformed into this scenic and challenging 18-hole layout. Originally a nine-hole course, the layout has undergone major renovations over the years, including its expansion to 18 holes. Despite the changes, Alderbrook has retained its classic character and still gives golfers a classic round. The mountains that enclose the course provide a stunning backdrop and the rugged terrain of the foothills is ideal golfing ground. Forests of mature cedar and fir trees blanket the landscape, which is also dotted with natural springs. Alderbrook's 16th hole is memorable for its extremely steep incline, but a panoramic view of the Tillamook Valley offers some scenic respite.

II HAD DINNER IN THE LOWER LOUNGE , THE SERVICE WAS EXCELENT, THE FOOD WAS SOME OF THE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD. THE NIGHT SHIFT PAYS ATTENTION TO ITS CUSTOMERS NEEDS. THE BATHROOMS WERE SPOTLESS SOMETHING THAT I PAY A LOT OF ATTENTION TO . I WILL RECOMMEND ALDERBROOK TO ALL MY FRIENDS .

Stay away!! At $45 per person + $25 for the cart you are paying more than double what its worth. I have seen cow pastures better maintained. Lost several balls on the fairways the grass/weeds are so tall. Back 9 only gets worse. looks like a first class resort from the website, but they spent all their money on a fancy club house and didn't have any $$ left to build the course.

Over priced, poor upkeep, fee's don't match course conditions. Fuzzy greens, thick fairways. One hole has no REAL green, hydraulic fluid was leaked onto from equipment, and killed all the green. New managment, and staff isn't knowledgable.

We were told when we booked a starting time (by phone)that it would be $45 w/a cart. I asked a second time for clarity before booking the starting time. When we arrived we were told it would be $60. We told him that we had been clearly told that it was $45 and the guy at the pro shop desk told us that another guy who worked there had been telling several people that when they called, but it was not true and the cost was going to be $60 and we had to take it or leave it. We drove 60 miles each way to play the course and didn't want to not play, but we knew we had been had. The course was below average and I would not reccommend this course to anyone. Greens were really long and had not been mowed for days. It was a total rip off and they even planned it.
