July 2012 - McKenzie River GC is in awesome shape! The course is so well manicured, full color in season and the greens & fairways are rolling true. Come play 18 or 27 holes and enjoy a quiet peaceful day ("facility check") next to the cool, babbling river. Cheers!

I have played a lot of golf already in 2012 throughout Oregon and this course is in as good of shape as any. If you think it's short, play from the back tees on every hole and you will be challenged.

Fairways are lined with mature trees allowing for some leeway, but playing this course on a regular basis makes most other courses feel wide-open.

Don't let it's low USGA numbers fool you. It is tough to shoot low here.

Give a try and you will come back often.

The phone number is 541-896-3454.This course is a great value for the working man or woman. The course drains extremely well all winter long and is above the fog/smog in the valley and below the snow line. A true gem as the best 10 hole course west of the Rockies!!!!!

This course drains so well in the wintertime, such a pleasure to play. Right along the river and just 25 minutes from Eugene, it is such a gem. I might just say it is a little Augusta. The Rhodies are in full bloom right now and the greens have gotten quick!

    My family loves it there!
