Hole #4 is the #1 handicap hole and for good reason. The fairway slants downward left to right the entire way to the green so a tee shot to the left is essential. Most golfers will not be able to drive the 300+ yards to the sharp dogleg right which will leave two choices. Either lay up at the turn or trying for the green over the thick trees that line the right. As you can see from the photo, the fairway from the turn to the green is undulating and spotted with rough.(Photo from the back of the green.)
