Open fun at the Ridge golf course at Eagle Crest Resort in Redmond
REDMOND, Ore. -- The Ridge Course is the more wide open of the two championship layouts at Eagle Crest Resort, but it's certainly no pushover.
This 6,952-yard, par-72 layout has played host to the Northwest Open as well as the Oregon Open. While it's generous off the tee, the approach shots can be challenging and the greens aren't the easiest to read with subtle undulations and adequate pace.
The par-3 third is considered the course's signature hole, with its slender green and water hazard to the right. It's a theme that's repeated on several holes, which also feature well bunkered greens and plenty of views of the Cascade Mountains in the distance.
