Exhilarating country atmosphere, complete with farms and wooded area, surrounds the Springwater Golf Course, located four miles south of Estacada and five miles from McIver State Park.
This 3,003-yard, 9-hole, par-36 public links stands on land that was once a family farm with berry patches, fields of grass, and farm animals. Opened in 1964 as a par-34, changes have been made over the years to add more yardage and two strokes. The fairways are generally wide; but a stream, beautiful hillsides, and canyons provide the necessary challenge. No. 5 is located on a high plateau that overlooks the rest of the course and the surrounding countryside. Views of Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Hood can bee seen on clear days.
