Oregon City Golf Club was originally built in 1922 as a nine-hole course. In 1960, the second nine was added bringing the total yardage to 5,940. It had no sand traps but did contain plenty of trees and rolling fairways.

Today, the course has been updated with sand traps on most holes, water on three, and the same rolling fairways and trees that have grown significantly larger. The drainage is excellent which makes it an outstanding winter course. A new clubhouse was completed in 1997 which provides all the amenities a golfer could need; including a fully stocked pro-shop, snack bar, 2,400 ft. banquet facility, putting green, and a large outside deck for your pre or post round refreshments.

View of the 11th hole at Oregon City Golf ClubA view from tee #12 with Mt. Hood in background at Oregon City Golf ClubThe putting green is well maintained and rolls like the course greens. A new clubhouse opened in 1997. It features a fully stocked pro-shop, snack bar, 2,400 sq. Foot banquet facility and a friendly staff to greet you. Individual and group golf instruction services are also be availableHole 18: photo from the back of the greenHole 18: Don't let the distance of this hole fool you. Long hitters may be able to hit the green in one and be putting for an eagle but the average golfer must beware of the water. The water cuts across the entire front of the green. The only landing areaHole #14 is a downhill par 3 with a bunker to the left of a relatively flat green.Oregon City GC #9: Alomost identical to hole #18 except for the distance. The water and trees lining the right of the fairway are the hazards to watch for. It's 175 yards from the back tees to an elevated green.Oregon City GC #7: The bunker cuts across the fairway about 200 yards out. The green can be seen in the distance. The trees jut out into the fairway on the left and right. There are no green side bunkers.Hole #6 is a sharp dogleg left about 270 yards out. You will have to lay up at the corner or go over the trees that line the to leave yourself a chance to hit the green in regulation. Two pot bunkers guard the right side of a green that pitches toward theOregon City GC #4: One of six dogleg left holes on the course. Too much club at the tee can catch the trees lining the right and spoil your approach shot.
