This challenging 18-hole, 6,501 yard, par-71 championship layout is situated between the sea and the coast range. The course has recently reopened following a major redesign authored by Jacobsen Hardy Golf Course Design. The redesign included 18 new green complexes, an additional 400 yards and stunning new views.
The back nine is situated on the west side of HWY 101 and winds along Siletz Bay near the ocean. The front nine lies on the other side of the high way on a picturesque hillside setting. Salishan Golf Links in known for its merciless roughs that gobble up errant hit golf balls. If you are looking for a challenging course along the beautiful Oregon coast, Salishan is sure to please.

- Under new management and now it is exceedingly well maintained. Very challenging golf course with lots of hills. Sand traps can be very wicked with very steep faces and the sand is rarely fluffy. Greens are also very challenging with lots of undulations and slope. Beautiful ocean views and views of the coastal range just add to the spectacular amenities of this Oregon coast golf course.A real gem. Each hole different and challenging. Played the back tees and it played very long.As near to perfect as I could imagine... it is an exceptionally challenging course in all the right ways.
Groomed perfectly, greens are consistent in speed, not too cool or too hot, and it's an absolutely gorgeous environment.
Btw, hole 10 is a showstopper, as it opens to a view of the bay.
