I play lots of different courses on the coast and in the valley and find Chinook Winds a lot of fun. The front nine starts with a major water feature. Same for the second nine. The indoor driving range is great when weather prevents outside play.

    Pros: good carts.

Cons: Everything else. Staff was friendly but very disorganized and they overbooked tee times.

Course is a joke. Greens desperately needed mowed and rolled. Fairways were really really really dry. Layout is confusing and claustrophobic. There are NINE par 3's! Its a glorified par 3 course with the pretentiousness of a private country club. Regulars were jerks on more than one occasion.

My dad, my brother and myself are amateur in every sense and have no interest in paying a ton of $ to golf.
Our vacation tradition is to play a local course and have a good time and this is about the top of our price range. That being said, we expected more. Our local municipal course is far better and $10 cheaper.

the slope rating of 109 does not do this small track justice ... while not long it is more than a fair test with small tough greens ... you'll be happy to shot your index ...recent improvements include better drainage and path extensions ...

I gave it 5 stars on a relative scale. Is it works class? No is a perfect resort course for Lincoln City ? Yes Not long, but small and quick Green's make it fun and at the same time challenging. You can play at a good pace. Tee boxes and greens are in great shape. Friendly staff. Play this course !

This is a very pretty course, hilly with sloping greens and quite challenging! My nephew and I chose to walk and carry our bags, while my dad rode in a cart. My nephew and I were glad we'd walked and gotten the exercise in, but it maxed us both out for sure (he's 16 and I'm 40). The course is plenty long, in my opinion, because it's fairly technically difficult, with woodland-lined fairways, water danger and strategically placed bunkers. I pulled out my longest clubs (7-wood, 3-wood) on more than half of the holes. Terrific course for a good price!

This is a great place to golf as longs as you fit the old golf image... So if your a minority i would avoid this golf course. The racisisum is veary clear. I know that managment sucks... most employee s are rude. I was treated Badly here as a tribal member i find that veary disturbing. I wouldnt advise spending ur money here. For a tribaly owned golf course i see nothing tribal. Well except the bar if you want to keep the drunk native american steriotype. Youll be waiting awhiel for srevice inless your upper management!

This course was a great and positive surprise to me as it had been over 20 years since I had played this course. Than it was a wind/blown dried out hay patch and poorly maintained. Now it has evolved into (hills are still there) a well maintained very fun, short, but somewhat challenging with some interesting holes. Played 18 holes from Blue tees and had a great time at a reasonable price for a vacation area. Very friendly Pro-Shop, well equiped, good condition carts and an indoor driving range for inclement weather days. Club house food was excellent with super service, even came back for diner after having lunch there.

Will be back befor another 20 years, and would and already have recommended to friends. All around a good experience!!

THE COURSE WAS WELL MAINTAINED AND THE GREENS WERE CHALLENGING. IT IS NOT A LONG COURSE, AND THAT SUITED OUR LEVEL OF PLAY. THE CLUBHOUSE WAS ATTRACTIVE AND WELL STOCKED, THE PERSONNEL WERE FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, AND POLITE. THE RENTAL CARTS WERE CLEAN AND IN GOOD WORKING ORDER. MY WIFE AND I PLAYED NINE HOLES ON CONSECUTIVE MORNINGS AND WOULD HAVE PLAYED AGAIN IF THE WEATHER PERMITTED. WE FELT THE PRICING WAS COMPETITIVE AND THE GOLF COURSE WAS A GOOD VALUE. WE WILL PLAY HERE AGAIN AND WOULD NOT HESITATE TO RECCOMMEND IT TO OTHERS.

$20 per person..per 9....Fairways were like cow pastures, big holes and large opening's where you had to watch were you walked in order to make sure you didnt trip or fall in...To pay that much for such..well let's just say not a well maintained course...Wouldnt recommend to anyone to play this course or pay the monies they want for it..
